Why Not Just Screenshot?

A screenshot captures your screen — with the UI, at screen resolution, often with compression. This downloader grabs Instagram’s stored original: higher resolution, no interface clutter, no quality loss. Side by side, the difference is obvious.

What Resolution Do You Get?

The highest resolution Instagram stores for that photo — typically 1080px on the long edge, exactly what the uploader’s file became after Instagram’s processing. What you see in the app is what you download, minus the app chrome.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this photo downloader free?

Yes — unlimited, no account, no catch.

What quality are the downloaded photos?

Full original resolution as stored by Instagram — far better than a screenshot.

Can I download photos from private accounts?

No — public posts only, like every legitimate tool.

Can I download carousel (multi-photo) posts?

Yes — each photo in the carousel is downloadable.

Is there a watermark?

Never. Clean originals only.

Do I need to log in?

No. Just the post link.

Can I use downloaded photos commercially?

Only with the owner’s permission — photos belong to their creators. Personal use is fine.

Why would a link fail?

Private account, deleted post, or a profile link pasted instead of the photo’s own link.
