DMCA / Copyright
Our stance
Creators own their work — full stop. This tool exists for personal use and backups, not for stripping creators of their rights. If your copyrighted content is being misused through this site, we take that seriously and act on valid requests promptly.
Note what this tool does and doesn’t do: it fetches files from public Instagram posts at a user’s request. It doesn’t host a library of content, and it doesn’t re-publish anything.
Filing a takedown request
Email your request to [email protected].
To help us act quickly, include all of the following:
- Description of your copyrighted work — what it is (e.g. “my original reel posted on [date]”).
- Where it appeared — the Instagram post URL, if applicable, or where the misuse occurred.
- Your contact information — full name, email address, and phone number.
- Good-faith statement — a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement — a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your signature — physical or electronic.
Incomplete requests take longer. Complete ones are typically actioned within 2 business days.
Counter-notices
If you believe your content was flagged in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with:
- Identification of the material and where it was located.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
- Your name, address, phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts.
- Your signature.
Repeat infringers
Accounts or users engaged in repeated, clear-cut copyright infringement will lose access to the service.
